I wouldn't mind a return to war-by-proxy and the proxy being the space race. Sputnik started everyone worrying about nukes over our cities, so the moon took a back seat to LEO.

Once someone figures out how to boost a small meteor into earth impact with precision, maybe the outer system will become a contested region.

I was sure there was better than Woonsocket, RI - pronounced Woon-sock-èt after its stinky French inhabitants - but apparently there's nothing fucking funny about RI.

We have YeeHaw Junction, Weeki Wachee, Roach Branch, Two Egg and Sopchoppy in Floridistan and the best they have is Spuds? Not even if it was named after Herr McKenzie.
