I dunno.... I kinda had my heart set on Bieber and Lohan last year, but I got stiffed* with Prince and Bowie.

I'm kinda hoping this year it will be a major politician.  Really, any will do.

Honestly, I'd be fascinated to see how the media will react to QEII's demise...And how long would it be before King Charles III got coronated?  Or does he even want the job, at his age?

I'd love to see him crowned and change the name to the House of Mountbatten

It is bound to be a show. I will be so sick of it by the time she is embalmed that I just may join her.

There's supposed to be some kind of paper somewhere that established the house of Windsor.  Which is why Phillip is the DOE and not King.

I don't think Chuck gets to be King since he married Camilla the Commoner....I believe William is up next !

Wiki says Chuck is next in line (and that nothing prevents him), but there certainly seems to be some confusion. I've heard both that the crown will transfer to Charles, and that it will go directly to William. Obviously, they can't both be right. I have no idea myself:

There are two separate shows in Britain currently focusing on the monarchy, Victoria and The Crown which details the life of the current Queen.

It's not unusual to see "the life of" stories pop up when the people discussed are suspected to not be long for this world.
