Are you suggesting that the leopard hunters are keeping me safe?

If you still are not sure after reading all these, let me know. I can give a thousand more.

Personally I'm fine with the babies. Too many people, culling our own herd is a public health service. And bald eagles are fucking glorified seagulls.
Dogs on the other hand, those people should be hunted and killed for sport.

Fuck it, the pictures aren't important.
Vacation in Botswana, couple of days with a San group, the men tunneled underground to catch African Porcupines...yes, the ones with quills like #3 pencils...
Off to the Okavango Delta. That first elephant. Strolling along like a Boss until he got downwind of the sweaty humans hiding in the brush...nobody should ever be allowed to hunt elephant. Smart as horses at least.
Anyway, hunted/killed enough deer here in California. No need to kill Big 4 in Africa. Elephant too smart, rhino endangered, I do not hunt brother / sister predators. Except world's most dangerous cow, the Cape Buff. Maybe some day Bwana hunt Nyati.

I don't care about the babies either and you are 100% correct on needing to cull our own herd. I was just using them to make a point.
Fuck, the bullet that hit the baby could just as easily came through my house and hit a prostitute that had already been paid in cocaine.

I'm glad you agree with us when we say "Criminals are bad" and "Criminal acts should be punished".

I feel like you spend your free time giving hand jobs to hunters.

As long as the coke doesn't spill, plans are still good.

Lot's of so-called hunters giving a black eye to those who do show respect and reverence for wildlife and land.
Starting with trophy hunters, poachers, litterbugs, wanton waste of meat, thrill kills, wounded animals they're too lazy to track,
fly shoot same day, bait stations (legal or not)...seen it all, reported most. I despise trapping...vile and cruel...legal or otherwise.
If states used hunting fees exclusively for game and habitat management/enforcement/expansion, we'd all be better off.
I sincerely believe there's YUUGE Venn Diagram overlap with environmentalists. Any hunter worth his/her salt IS an environmentalist.
In case he missed it, here's a nice saucer of shadenfrude for the Bigkitty.
Not sure if anyone noticed. He's also sitting on the snow machine (FYI: never referred to as "snow mobile" in AK).
BTW: Crawling into dens to shoot bears while hibernating isn't cool either. Athabaskans do it regularly...it's cultural.
This fellow was mauled was outside a den. Not my idea of "fair chase"...but legal.

Trapping and Hunting for sustenance is all good - outside of that it's wasteful and basically evil. (Forced culling aside - which is, of course, a completely different story).
I have friends, who are currently down on their luck, who live off of harvesting the land - fish, fowl, wild veggies and meat. Harvest - not play.
They know the spots for the best wild mushrooms and there is no better place to go for a Christmas Turkey feast, it's called "organic living" when you pay extra money to do it.

Today is the first day of antlered deer season here in Pa.
At 10:45am on this very first day the police came to my house asking if I had seen a missing hunter who was supposed to be within a mile or so of my house but never met up with his partner at their designated time.
At noon the volunteer fire department came to my house looking for the same guy and asked me to volunteer to help look for him since I knew the forest area surrounding my house since I have lived here for 25 years.
I said "fuck it, sure I will help" I was hoping to catch a glimpse of some douche bag hunter who had a heart attack.
While walking with the VFD, we flushed a few deer out of the brush. A volunteer fireman started blazing away at them and hit and killed a doe. Right the fuck in front of me and asked me if I would help him drag it to his truck before anyone saw him because he shot the wrong one.
I pulled out my phone and called the cop that gave me his card this morning and told him the whole scoop.
Meanwhile the original hunter was at the VFW eating buckwheat cakes and never bothered to tell his partner where he was.
Fucktards.

You're just grumpy at not being invited to the buckwheat cakes...

Unfortunately natural selection got beat by medical progress (and I suspect some sort of public assistance to fund the hospital stay)
Too bad he didn't die. A hunter named Hunter will always be a douche.

It should soothe you to know that this leaves a scar and a story that will accompany him for life. It's nice that it made the papers. (hehehe....)

Yep, he will be crowing that story at the local bar for the next 60 years while the taxpayers pick up his disability tab.
