Good. I used to read them but they just got so bad it was ridiculous. People couldn't even ask a genuine question without getting shit all over.

Fuck the iMDB Hollywood P.C. thought police.
Moving on to the heart of the issue:
Sixty Million+ working class folks are getting sick and tired of Hollywoods' arrogant, bolshevist, gun grabbing, shit purveyance.
Actors stupid enough to have mounted that soapbox deserve whatever loss of income or derision Joe Sixpack can mete out.
No more $50 a shot theater visits from this patron...EVER.
Firing up the Kodi to pirate every goddamn new/old release possible...including "chick flicks".

There once were men (and women) who knew how to deal with such Hollywood arrogance. And make fantastic entertainment for the peeps.
Even IMDB pays homage to the greats.

Yeah you get the extremes of both sides there... the righties are even more annoying than the lefties. But it's Monied California what do you expect?

Who cares about annoying? The righties are fucking dangerous. They only thing stopping them from turning American into a completely fascist state are the limits imposed by the Constitution, which, in fact, we'll be constantly bumping up against as long as Trump is in power.
So I'd say this isn't a case of "Both sides do it, and they're equally bad, and equally dangerous."
The right wing propaganda industry has become so overwhelmingly powerful that they are able to keep a constant drumbeat of warning about the excesses of the left. But, seriously, since Jimmy Carter what excesses? The most outrageous thing which has come out of the left in decades is an attempt to provide basic, minimal health care for most (not all) of the country's citizens; something which virtually every advanced country in the world has done for decades or longer. Who the hell thinks this is something radical or wrong headed? Who the hell is society here to serve if not the people who live here?
Our rights and freedoms and health and happiness are under assault from a hundred directions right now, and the thread which has gotten the most comments on this forum recently (and generated the most emotion too) was a story about college students who rebelled against having to listen to some fascist asshole address them. What the fuck, people. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you have to listen to every douche bag with a megaphone who comes selling snake oil and telling lies.
Get some perspective, and consider whether 'political correctness' is really threatening your freedom, your health, your life or your ability to survive. Because the guys on the other side, with their insane right wing fascist ideas are threatening all of those things.
(getting down off of my soapbox now)...

Not sure where you live but, $14 gets me a reserved luxury recliner seat, a wall behind me so no little kid can kick my chair, and an XD Digital video and audio system. We don't buy any concessions but go and eat at a restaurant afterward. We stopped going to the cinema for more than a decade due to it being such a pain in the ass but this situation has brought us back.

Dinner Theater: Food, Booze and Movie
Only downside is no pause button if ya gotta take a leak.

Baywolfe knows he's not getting any again any time soon until his mate shows the world she owns a housebroken ape.

Nah, I married a slut, that's never been an issue, and she's as misanthropic as I am. The unwashed masses tend to ruin public outings unless there are some boundaries that can be established. And dinner theater holds no interest to us either. We already watch a DVD and eat dinner in front of the big TV every night anyway.

Don't be such a panty waist. If you are not letting it out something is gonna blow.
I can't remember f you are a sock puppet or not, but should you not have been around to witness, the regulars here let loose such an unholy and untoward torrent of political bile upon each other, that certain inner demons were shown for the futile effort they are. It's not that some are old and jaded, nor old and tired, it's maybe the cathartic release once done, returns to malinger just below the surface.
Woe be , do not tempt fates.

Well, if I am a sock puppet I'm a highly productive one because I'm quite sure I've posted more over the last month (speaking of quantity, not quality) than anyone else on the forum.
But it does beg the question "If someone is willing to put so much effort into creating an illusion that the illusion becomes useful, then you might ask "which is more real"? Isn't everything we do on line an illusion? I mean I don't suppose Johnny Rotten is your real name.
I think I'm a real person, but I've been confused about other things in the past, so I suppose this could just be one more.

Pedantic pedestrianisms not withstanding, you will always be Smudge to me Mr. Smudge.
Whatever vile vitrol of your past matters not. To carry on into the brave new world, no need is had for absolution or amnesia, though I can help with one of them, I am qualified, it runs in the family, my paternal ancestor was a fallen priest.

Thanks, JR. I genuinely enjoy and appreciate your posts, but I'm sure that came across already.

Frankly, I have a problem with anyone using the shorthand "PC" or "politically correct." If you call them on it, they can never--I mean literally, never--give you a definition of what they mean by the phrase.
...Yes, lads, that is a challenge. Define it for me. Clear away my ignorance.

Get thee to an Alamo Drafthouse and you will change your tune. If you do not live within the vicinity of an Alamo Drafthouse, I recommend that you pack up your shit and move immediately.

Exactly, George! That's why it's such a slippery charge, which is so hard to defend against; because it's pretty close to being meaningless. It's just a platitude, and it's impossible to argue with a generalization because it's so non-specific.
