Has *any* president ever *not* donned a flight jacket when touring an aircraft carrier?
I must have missed out on his stellar military career. And his NASA stint:
I'm tired of the media reporting Twitter comments as "news". File this under the obits.

Trump is Commander in Chief, and deserves to dress the part. I hate his fucking guts but I'm not going to bitch about him playing dress up. How many Presidents have we had that actually deserved any uniform? A dozen, maybe? Mostly in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and World Wars I&II, and nobody post WWII.

If you're referring to Trump's comments on McStain, I'd side with el Presidente.
McStain is a shabbos-goy warmonger. He NEVER would have entered or graduated the Academy, much less been allowed anywhere near an aircraft, if it weren't for dad & gramps.
Been around enough flyboys to speculate he was most likely a crappy pilot, as well. Whether his big-ego-ineptitude played a significant role in the (many) aerospace vehicles he yarded out ---
especially the one landing him in the Hilton, or not, would again, be speculative. Let's just say a series of unfortunate events landed him a U.S. Senate seat.
It was "ordained" that he "serve". Not so much with the rest of us. Big difference.
Like they say: You salute the rank, not the dirtbag wearing it.

Truman was a WWI doughboy. Nixon was a LT JG during WWII, Carter was also a naval officer and Ronnie Raygun mistook Warner's backlot for Normandy.

Don't forget Eisenhower and Kennedy. You don't have to have a C.A.R. or even served, however you shouldn't have dodged and then started talking shit.
