Shooter was taken into custody. Be interesting to see what kind of back story develops from here.
It was interesting that the shooter had about 3 minutes of free fire before Alexandria police arrived and the ability to get off about 100 rounds in 10 minutes before he was brought down.

Chickens coming home to roost. Likely Solution: guns should be even easier to buy so we can "defend" ourselves better. The right is stirring up anger, hatred, and fear. What the hell do they expect is going to happen?

Mr Brooks said the gunman was armed with a rifle and was "blasting away" from behind the dugout, using it for protection.
Yup that sidearm is going to do you a lot of good.
Getting them playing softball was a nice touch, I appreciate the creativity.
