It was a pretty complicated application process but I stuck through it, in the final section I pleaded with them to send a formal letter of rejection instead of the usual email and specifically asked they use the terminology used for losers of the meritorious selection process in the military (which reads: "Individual was considered for meritorious promotion but due to keen competition was not selected at this time"). I want something to frame that says I was in the race to be the first PLANETARY PROTECTION OFFICER!!!
