I like the thread title. Weird how that came from nowhere to become the most important cabinet position, with a finger in every pie.

I still say that, even if climate change were not really a thing even though we know it is, is this not the business opportunity of a lifetime?  Shouldn't there be a flurry of research into eradicating greenhouse gasses, machines build and sold, marketing blitzes?  What the fuck are these pro-business Conservatives doing?  Is everybody either a lawyer, trust fund baby, or a politician?

You're surprised?

Not a lot different than the way Michael McKean described The Aristrocrats!, with shit, piss and fuckall flying everywhere.

It's a joke that makes its own gravy.

Stop paying attention to the noisy money and start watching the real money.  Buffet just said solar is a bit high right now but batteries are a good investment. Watch the rest, they are going deep on renewable.  Follow the money.

Oh, I watch things, I'm down here in the "energy capital" after all.  Green output surpasses fossil fuel by 2020.  They are going to go bloody apeshit down here when the oil companies start heading the way of coal companies.  There was an article in the Dallas Morning News a few years ago that Exxon might slowly and quietly revert back to a privately held company and, one day, just disappear along with all the money.
