Mini Biography
Patrice Rohmer was a very radiant, shapely and sexy actress who had an extremely fleeting acting career, but did do her considerable utmost to greatly enliven the small handful of enjoyably trashy 70s drive-in films she graced with her infectiously engaging, energetic and uninhibited presence. Rohmer made her film debut as a one night stand in "Harrad Summer" (1974). She then had tiny parts as a groupie in Brian De Palma's gloriously gonzo horror rock comedy musical "Phantom of the Paradise" (1974) and a vacuous, baby-voiced stripper in Robert Aldrich's gritty police mystery thriller "Hustle" (1975). Patrice's biggest, most substantial and memorable role ever was as Sesame, who was one of the titular saucy'n'sensuous oversexed airhead lead characters in the uproariously raunchy'n'ridiculous drive-in exploitation riot "Revenge of the Cheerleaders" (1975). Rohmer also contributed a solid, yet minor turn as criminal Tommy Lee Jones' spiteful and jealous ex-girlfriend Cassie Anne in the terrific redneck action romp "Jackson County Jail" (1976). Alas, Patrice Rohmer died from a heroin overdose on July 14th, 1978.
Also....
Rohmer fans will want to check out the 1975 book RAPTURE, by Ron Raffaelli. It's a coffee-table book of erotic photo stories that sold quite widely in the porn chic days (I bought one at Waldenbooks). Tame by comparison with any topshelf mag these days, it was hot stuff in 1975 because it showed occasional penetrations. Rohmer stars in story #4, "Innocence," picnicking on a studio set with a blonde hippie lout. This predates her Revenge of the Cheerleaders role by 2 or 3 years. Five of the 12 glossy b/w pix are just lovely girl stuff, and in them she's modestly clad in semi-transparent blouse and microskirt. There are 2 photo studies of her vage area, however, one full page (furry on the mons, shaved down the crack, if you were wondering), another pic in which she holds her scene partner's stiff dick up to her beaming smile but doesn't quite lick it, and a couple of side views showing at least simulated penetration. Pix are pretty modest by the book's own standards but will show you something you didn't see in Revenge of the Cheerleaders.

Indeed she does. [REDACTED]
(OK, so I edited out the rest of this post. It originially had links (not the actual info) to already existing and easily discovered information on the web, including her address, phone, relatives, etc. All quite readily found, so you can go find the information for yourselves if you like.... start with Switchboard.com - the rest is easy.)
Ahh.. the things you can find on the internets......

Ahh... the glorious hoaxter, Alan Abel... he was way ahead of his time... and way more sophisticated and funny than the unimaginative "Jackass" pranks of today.
For those of you who don't remember this particular one:
In 1967, an American prankster called Alan Abel produced a spurious press release announcing the arrival of the Topless String Quartet from France. He gave them intriguing names (Madeleine Boucher, Gretchen Gansebrust), and explained that they performed topless in an attempt to create "unhampered" music. The fish - the media - swallowed the hook. There were requests for autographed photos, and agents wanted to promote recitals. Sinatra himself tried to sign the Quartet to record for his Reprise label.
I particularly liked his Yetta Bronstein for President bit ("Vote for Yetta and things will get betta!") and the Society for the Indecency to Naked Animals (diapers fixed that one).
Another cute one of his - the KKK Symphony Orchestra:

Interesting photo essay, Choad. I love that pic of the scraggly bearded dude in sort of a half twist against the smoke. Great shot.

The 60s/70s Playmates' bodies are refreshingly lovely, even to non-prurient eyes.
But I can't help looking at those hairdos and thinking how badly damaged they'd be if actual sexual activity took place. I know how much hairspray it took to look that way, you see.
It's all fun until someone's eye gets poked out.
