Researchers found a trend that suggested a correlation between preferences for black coffee, and other bitter tastes, and sadistic or psychopathic personality traits. Find out the best ways to spot a narcissist before it’s too late!

They also found that people who enjoyed milky or sugary coffee, and other sweet flavors, generally tended to have more “agreeable” personality traits like sympathy, cooperation, and kindness.

What a load of fetid dingo's kidneys.

Probably.

Disclaimer: I've drunk mine black, no sugar since I was 4.

Yeah, I had that diagnosis at 15 by the court system.  Started drinking coffee at 4 like Choad.  Haven't harmed anyone in all those years, but probably bored them to death with my conversations about nuances of the symbolist art movement.  Sue Me.

I don't drink it at all so I guess that makes me the alien, or secret Hitler, depending on what game you're playing.  My mom drank it black and was a sweetheart.  My dad was heavy milk and sugar and was an asshole.  Neither showed sadistic or psychopathic personality traits.  I swear that these psychology researchers try to justify their habits as "normal" and everybody else as crazy.

Consider the link source, as lame 50 years ago as it is today.

I loved RD when I was a kid.  Mostly just read the joke sections and a few articles.  I don't know if it was my growth as a person or a change in philosophy by RD management but, one day as an adult, I realized they were all about flag-waving jingoism and religion.  I guess I missed that "Why Nixon is right for America" article in the 1960s.

Oh and by the way:  "Hello in there" my friend, we worry about you sometimes.

It is, you're right. I relapse when I least expect it.
