Saw this 2 days ago....Three cases in 11 years is not anything to worry about.  Unless, of course, if you don't have the money for baby food, or a blender.  Except for the "back to nature" crowd, this really isn't much of a threat.  The subjects in this study passed the virus on because of bleeding gums, not saliva.

Unfortunately, some don't have the luxury of prepared wholesome food, (I know, oxymoron) and pre-chewing is the only option.  Would they just let the baby starve?  Even AIDS patients need to eat.

BTW fnord, some of these cases happened in America.

Is a mortar and pestle beyond the technologial capabilities of these people? How about a fucking kitchen knife? It cuts up food into bite-sized pieces just fine.

Totally unnecessary. Especially at age four.
