Just FYI, we are having Chinese delivered to our door this evening as a treat, because we're bored of cooking and the local restaurants have started offering free delivery.

Well that was quick! We are open for business on Friday!
Seems like a fun experiment to be a part of, what with no testing of the population at all or any implemented contact tracing.
Leading the pack.

Nontheless.
As previously stated IV-->circling the bowl. If I were a hiring manager, current batch of matriculants would be earmarked for non-consideration.

Lies, lies, everywhere. This will continue to be an ugly story worldwide.

Cross-posting this, but I have found it useful.
So in New York you have a 1.3% chance of having the virus right now and a 0.1% chance of dying from it already.

They sure go out of their way to not name the race of the victims and to not mention any travel to China they may have been exposed to.

Nothing parking for long here. It’s gas & go, go, go.
Even Volga-Denepr is capitalizing on the PLANdemic money cannon fusillade with a pair of mighty Antonov 124s.
In rolls an Ilyushin Il-76.
Mask$ for the ma$$e$.

Is Putin sending us masks for our troubles or taking them from us?
And forgive my ignorance, Why does the Il-76 look like it has bombardier windows in the nose? How old would it be to have that feature?

Did Choad mention testing? Very recently, stumbled across a number of these contraptions transiting through. Wondering if your PLANdemic hot spot will be the lucky recipient? You’re in luck if you live here. On the bright side HOLX was up almost 4% today.
In other news, the Ilyushin Il-76 went on it’s way and the Dreamlifter rolled in with another (made in Japan) fuselage section for the 787. No pics allowed while onboard.

Asked March 2 if he would be comfortable traveling with his family to Disney World, Vice President Pence said that “there’s been no recommendation about any limitations on travel” in the United States, adding that he travels “all the time.”
First, whatever Pence says, do the opposite. Second, he "travels all the time" in personal jets with a screened security team that doesn't get to choose to self isolate. It's like when Guliani stands in front of a mic saying "nobody needs guns" while 5 armed security guys stand around him.

Congress is still self-isolating. No public tours of the White House since March. But then Politicians, and these days especially Republicans, are "do as I say, not as I do."
They just can't stand to see both Aviation and Oil and Gas to go into the toilet at the same time. I guess this about wraps it up for Capitalism.

I saw an American billionaire sheltering in a private facility that employs hundreds in work unrelated to said billionaire. The family has 26 paid servants who they require to wear masks at all times when they step away from the inner circle. Even outside and alone. That makes some sense as they are paid to go out and do things and sometimes interact with social distancing in mind. But the large multi-generational billionaire family is going out, wandering around, touring and sightseeing and visiting the recently reopened restaurants without any mask themselves. I had to think about that for a minute.

The '29 stock market crash flattened that curve until the 80's. Here's hoping you shelter among sane humans soon.

I have nothing but pleasant memory of our drive-in here as a kid, derelict for years until some fuckstick erected a water slide and became a straight-to-video Adam Sandler Movie. No joke in any sense.

Same here. Ours had a playground in front of the screen to wear us kiddies out and ensure we'd fall asleep by the second movie.

We had terrible nauseating vinyl brown buicks and decrepit datsuns. It was anxeity ridden going anywheres in them . Let alone be trapped in one for hours with my parents. Family roadtrips were voyages of hell sprinkled with promises of heaven.

World economy crashing? Time to fire up the one & only, super mighty, Antonov 225.
Counted 32 tires on this monster.
