The laughable "S" word has reared its ugly head again in Texas.  People wanting to secede from the United States.  The state would be bankrupt in five years.  They forget that more oil flows from the north than comes out of the Texas ground.  And how do they plan on protecting themselves after the US withdraws the troops and dismantles the bases?

None of these assholes seems to understand that there are no Red or Blue states, we're a Purple nation.  Actually more like a Mauve nation once you add in 18% of the voters who are Independent, of which I am one.  I'm pretty sure the people in Austin also realize that the mass exodus of professionals from Texas would plunge the state into Alabama status.
