I realized I would quit smoking when packs went above 75¢ and the cigarette machine at my school jammed too many time pulling the knob out.

I remember being on vacation back in the 1960's and my parents, while driving from Ohio to Tennessee, would stop at a place in Kentucky called (of all things) Cudjo's Caverns to buy cartons of cigarettes for less than $2.00.
