It was more to protect his family. Shit happens when you are trying to change the world.

I hear you, besides, don't you think he knew a bullet was coming for him sooner or later?

I would imagine. With the FBI, and other gov't agencies in on the game.

Seriously, who cares?
Have/had access to plenty.
Never considered ingesting.
Wouldn't fault anyone who made a personal decision to do so.*
Plan from start: catch it, let body do what body does to build natural immunity, move on with life.

Might have been different had I been a fat boar (lacking motivation/IQ to maintain personal health) or elderly - within a year of dying of "whatever" anyhoo. (One more NPR tear-jerker about some 87 year old dying of the ChiCom flu and I'll hurl).
BTW pro-vax....just not this one...not ever. Been all over the world in some serious shit-holes.(.mil &.biz) Either caught it or had the jab in advance. Stupid fucks can jack China Flu VAX to infinity. Have at it. However, for what it's worth, ONE jab (actually two) to consider is SHINGRIX. Come down with a good case of post herpetic trigeminal neuralgia and you'll either be dosing yourself unconscious with narcotics for the remainder of your life or shoving a gun in your mouth. INCURABLE suffering. Worse than covid (long or short)...by an order of magnitude. Read up.

For the record, not just "old people" dying.
Aesop has a whole book of cautionary tales regarding your life philosophy. I haven't had the flu in 20 years and have been getting flu shots for 20 years. All on my Doctor's advice. Same with the Moderna shots, I got them when he said to get them. Did they save me from COVID? Is that really even the point? This appalling lack of respect and trust in intelligent, educated people is pulling this country, and others, right back to the dark ages. You may not like or respect the elite of our society, but their opinions outweigh those of all the slack jawed yokels put together.

Had that one as well, and knowing several people who've suffered through shingles, am glad I did.

From what I gather, your chance of buying a box from this is 68 times higher if you haven't been vaxxed. Always loved gamblers. How are the odds in this house? Even all your friends at Faux news, along with glorious orange leader, court jester Ron Paul and the Texas dildo all have been. You've allowed yourself to have been duped for identity politics.

That was choice.
Per chance, were you referring to this "elite".
"Doctor" advice? I'll see your anecdotal evidence and raise. Both my past and current primary care docs recommend based on your circumstances. For anyone sans those age /mostly preventable co-morbidities... coupled with a 99% survivability, i'll take the odds. Additionally, blood bank (8 gallons+...so far) could care less about your fucking vax status. Their concern: existing symptoms (checked on the spot) or health status within a prescribed window...oh, and if you ate some form of cow brains in Europe during the 80s.
As far as the condescending reference to those "slack jawed yokels". Smartest people I've ever encountered, as i waded through this finite life, were dirt farmers. They'd have figured out the lowest common denominator and have you figured out before you google searched "pretentious".

No, but "what are the changes due to Brexit?" was the most Googled phrase in the UK for a couple of weeks and, based on the videos, all the news media there were targeting people who had no idea why they voted for it i.e., tRump-like voters.

I think you are missing the context of the posting. It shows the ridiculous sop that passes as news/info on the DM.

No, I get that, I'm just saying there may be a few people there that do at least a small amount of journalistic investigation.
I did just listen to an interview of Sandy Toksvig by Victoria Coren Mitchell and, after Victoria brings out a Daily Mail, Sandy says, "Oh, for a moment I thought that was a real newspaper."

Ooooh YOU need a "fact checker" in lieu of digesting a variety (what hasn't been censored) of differing views for yourself? Priceless.
about that.
You do realize Clinton/Bush/Obama/big tech/MSM/white house outsourced fact lolz checking lolz to the great state of...Indiana...whoops, er...I mean...India some time ago.
