Mortality...
In the last 2 weeks I have heard of 3 people/family-friends having passed to the Western Lands, just like that.
Two by natural causes, one by murder.
It gives one pause of course. We spend a good part of our lives saying hello, and then saying goodbye. It doesn't get easier, and we are all on that road together.
We share more in common than not. Mortality, both a gift and a curse is part of all of our lives. Treat everyone as you can with love and respect. Life is short. Make the world a better place for you having passed through it.

Perhaps she's still just being pissy about me spending so much to acquire a full collection of first edition King hardcovers in my library.
