Senate Bill 1316: Information Dissemination would mandate that writers register with the Florida Office of Legislative Services or the Commission on Ethics. It would apply to anyone who writes “an article, a story, or a series of stories,” about “the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, a Cabinet officer, or any member of the Legislature,” and is paid for doing so. They would have to register within a five-day period by the publication of the article or stories.
If the blogger writes about any of those lawmakers again, the writer would be required to submit a monthly report on the 10th of every month with the state office. If no content is published that month, they wouldn't have to submit a report.

And that is A-ok with my pepe populist friends who came in from the cold for the Trumpy times. They are quite happy with all the validation and clubby atmosphere and will share a piece of their mind with you at the drop of a dime. They hated Republicans for being flimsy sellouts rather than doing what needed to be done to save the culture.

Yeah, I read that this morning. It's likely to be completely unenforceable, even within the state, and the bill seems to indicate that they want all bloggers in America to register with them.
I have an old blog from 1978 that I still have but don't use. If they pass this, I'm going to use it to motherfuck Il Douchebag DeSantis and his motley crew on a weekly basis.

The differences between Trump and DeSantis are age and competence.
