Agreed. This accomplishes the desired goal of getting him out of our lives and republic forever, without making him a martyr. Ironically, his inevitable and incessant attempts to strangle these (and potentially other) charges with their own cords combined with the stress of running for president at the same time, is most likely what will finally do him in.

I keep telling myself that his bluster cannot work forever. It is almost like a principle of physics. Nobody gets away with his kind of bullshit forever. At least that's what I want to believe.
The trail of damage he leaves in his wake will take years to clean up. More likely we will just drive around it and leave it on the roadside.
