Cool stuff. There is something beyond just the history of political influence, the notable sociology of power and ideas rooted to their past time and place. There is something still remarkable about what people had to go through in our very own country just to get a fair shake.

My grandfather on my mother's side organized in the teens and earlier last century. 2 attempts were made on his life by the Pinkertons. He had to go to trial for defending himself.
My uncle, for whom I was 1/2 named for (my father has the same name) was murdered in 1936 for organizing. It runs deep in my family.
