These religious fascists terrify me. They would mandate the most anti-american laws of discrimination just to hold power in government. And that comes from someone who witnessed Jerry Falwell moral majority revivals.
Though I think Musk and his cronies could do the most significant harm to the lives of Americans with government favoring corporate interest, financial deregulation and government favoritism of the select oligarchs.

"The most preposterous notion that H. sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery. Yet this absurd fantasy, without a shred of evidence to bolster it, pays all the expense of the oldest, largest, and least productive industry in all history.

This country, this world, will never be free without the complete destruction of organized religion, starting with the Holy Roman Empire Catholic Church.

There are two types of X-Nats, the rich "I want state laws changed to make {fill in the blank} illegal!" and the ones you see in Border's link which are the same MAGA doofi acting like God is a sports team and dressing up in what they perceive to be his uniform because as we were forewarned, "When fascism comes to the USA it will be wearing an American flag and carrying a bible."

I am not pushing for people to do stupid shit. I was raised in the military and have handled guns since my early adolescence (with multiple decades of not). I have had extensive training. Guns are not for everyone. If you decide to get one, train, train, train, and be safe. A gun is always loaded. In some 61 years of handling them off and on I have had 1 negligent discharge. That is 1 to many.
If you decide to buy a gun... get training/instructions. Safeguarding with a safe or a lock box if a pistol. The gun is not the first go to in any situation.
With all of this said, we are living in weird fucking times. Be safe.

I assure you, safety would be my top priority, especially with a tween in the house. As I'm sure you've gleaned, I'm not the type to view a gun as a phallic extension (well, not in reality - in gaming, sure!).
