At his Senate confirmation hearing yesterday, Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth refused to state whether he would follow an unlawful order given by President-elect Donald Trump. During the nationwide protests after George Floyd’s murder in 2020, Trump asked the then chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, “Can’t you just shoot them, just shoot them in the legs or something?” It is entirely conceivable that during his second term, what was previously a question becomes an order.

None of them are qualified, but then, not sure that many in the Biden administration are either.  Honestly, the fact that he just refused to answer the question instead of lying was impressive. I'm sure it's because if he said "No" then Donnie would withdraw his blessings and if he said "Yes" they might torpedo his confirmation.

In this modern Kleptocracy, it's almost comical to see how far these people will abase themselves before the Orange Calf.  This is 21st Century America, home of the Fee and land of the Paid.

Thanks for this article. I have put it out to bunches of places. I am deeply concerned for the direction of the country, and loosing the military on the populace doesn't end well.

Wait, this guy was an unqualified DEI appointment? Or in retrospect, did he just not comply in the Trump approved way?

Ok then, Drop em like a hot potato.

Black Medal of Honor recipient removed from US Department of Defense website
Page honoring Charles C Rogers for his Vietnam war service is now defunct with letters ‘DEI’ added to website address

Dated 1 November 2021, the entry’s Google preview reads: “Medal of Honor Monday: Army Maj Gen. Charles Calvin Rogers.” Below it are the words: “Army Maj Gen Charles Calvin Rogers served through all of it. As a Black man, he worked for gender and race equality while in the service.”

I get why they had to remove the Enola Gay, can't have no gay no how. But that black guy gotta go too? Drop em, bombs away.

In some cases, photos seemed to be flagged for removal simply because their file included the word gay, including service members with that last name and an image of the B-29 aircraft Enola Gay, which dropped the world’s first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, during the second world war.

Several photos of an Army Corps of Engineers dredging project in California were marked for deletion, apparently because a local engineer in the photo had the last name Gay. And a photo of Army Corps biologists was on the list, seemingly because it mentioned they were recording data about fish – including their weight, size, hatchery and gender.
