I know you all pine for the days of Bonsai Kitten and text-only websites to post, but this is 2007. Most of the mockable media now available is video-based. I might be persuaded to stop posting for the day, but video is here to stay.

I don't have a problem with video. But somehow it is a cheaper version of comedy. Comedy with words is what the Cruel of Yore was built on. Any idiot with a cell phone can record themself doing something stupid... and any idiot with a PC can sample all this crap and make a mash up.
Originality in any venue is welcome. If I want to see YouTube videos, I will just go there and surf all day. I was hoping High Street would be more of a commentary exchange, funny link post, and funny video clips.
That is all.
Again, it is the humor and wit of the posters that keeps a place interesting.

Hey, the Goatse is fine. I was just here at work and I wanted to reply on that thread, but I couldn't do that with a glaring, gaping ANUS in my face (or was that a pussy hole?). Feel free to put it back..just maybe on the picture thread? I don't expect NSFW warnings all the time, but then again I don't surf the pic threads at work if I can help it.
And while the fart video may be funny, I don't surf with sound at work, so I tend to not view video links until the evening. YouTube is funny. But variety is the spice of life.
