I bought a house with a toilet like that once. Adult son lived with invalid mother for 20 years. We tried to clean it. The only thing that worked was the sledgehammer treatment.
But other than that, I have seen dorm rooms that were dirtier.

I was briefly a social worker in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, the extreme tap town edge of Appalachian poverty and got a lifetime's whiff of inbred white trash dragging paths through towering rubbish from room to room, with no flat surfaces and a stank I still smell. I'll pass on the post, thank you.

Choad, you bleeding heart. I used to be a social worker too..what a sucky job. It was as close, though, to being a homicide cop as I'll ever get, and fun in a very sick, sad, temporary sort of way.
