One of the teams in my son's rugby league rolled out a female half-back this year.  Was unfair at first as the boys were being gentle with her.

Didn't last long though and she gave it up after a couple of tough hits by some of the forwards.

It was actually kindof sad cuz she just stopped taking the ball into contact and eventually her team-mates had to start playing around her.



(The good news is that there will be a girls side on most of the league teams next year so she will get to play)
