In a somewhat similar vein, moving to San Francisco did more to crush my porn fantasies than anything else might have. Few things are as deflating as seeing the guy you lusted for in some porn flick than seeing him giggling with his girlfriends in a local bar or grocery store. Well, I suppose actually bedding the guy and then experiencing what a lousy lay he is in meatspace is pretty disappointing, too, and that's happened more times than I care to recount.
