Woman is on her second bout of lung cancer? Advising her to opt out seems merciful to me.

I realize WorldNetDaily isn’t an unbiased neutral source, but there is a big problem with insurance plans denying treatments that a patient’s doctor believes will have a reasonable chance of improving quality of life.  While I support the right of the terminally (or chronically) ill to off themselves, it isn’t appropriate for an insurance plan to recommend this or any other option.

Considering how many patients legit chemo kills per year, don't we think this is just a semantic argument? Perhaps a chilly matter for actuaries?

Sounds reasonable to me.
