I know I don't have a link, but I made a woman cry today after I went apeshit on her after a road rage incident..... I had the roof off the car and was taking a leisurely drive down a twisty road when she decided to race as fast as she could out of a side road to pull out in front of me... To keep from hitting her I had to lay on the brakes pretty hard... What made the situation worse was she wouldn't even drive the speed limit after that or even pull off on the side of the road to let me by.... I tried all the tricks to get her to move, tailgating with the brights on, honking the horn, flipping her off, swerving in and out, but to no avail..... The straw that broke the camels back though was when she decided that the answer to getting me off her tail wasn't pulling over, but rather to give me a brake check...... I fucking lost it, I passed her on a blind corner, and laid on my brakes full bore... Due to Corvette brakes being quite a bit better than those of a Subaru Forester she had to swerve madly to keep from hitting me and nearly lost control of her automobile.... I then gave her a taste of her own medicine by driving ten miles an hour in a fifty five zone for several miles..... We then came to a small town and I saw her quickly pull off into a convenience store parking lot.... Not finished with her yet I did a quick U-turn and made it back into the lot before she could even get out of her car... I got out of the car stomped over and let out a string of obscenities, some of which never spoken before and many of them personal attacks concerning the womans appearance..... I didn't stop until the fat bitch finally broke down and started crying I left her with a hearty "Fuck you" and went on my way.....
A lot of people try to paint me as a bad guy because I have such a high propensity for road rage.... I guess I don't see it that way at all because I'm an extremely courteous driver.... If someone is going faster than me and can't safely pass I pull over.... If someone needs to merge into my lane I allow them to.... I always use my turn signals and keep safe distances from other people unless they piss me off.... Why is it always the person with road rage that's the bad guy? I think the cops should stop road rage by going after it's root cause rather than punishing the effect..... There are just so many fucking inconsiderate morons out there and I feel that getting threatened and abused is the first step to making them productive members of our society....

I’m curious Dirk. Do you choose your road rage targets based on their apparent inability to strike back? Or does it even matter if they go psycho because you are safe in your vehicle? Not having a car, I get sidewalk rage but have to choose my targets very carefully. I have had some amazingly fun confrontations but the most unassuming people can be surprisingly violent. Nevertheless, it might be fun for you to try your raging skills on a more urban audience.

I have found that there are certain types of people that I target though..... If the car has a Jesus fishy on it, if it's a Toyota Prius, if it's a motorhome, and to a certain extent minivans I'll zero right in on them....... We all know people in these cars already deserve whatever the fuck they get so I'm just mentioning it for the record.....

Now see, this is an example of why profiling is wrong. A good friend of mine drives a Prius and he's a gun toting conservative, and had a gun even when he lived in the Chicago city limits where they are banned. He just doesn't believe in his hard earned dollars going toward supporting big oil when there's an alternative. Also, like yourself, he's an avid outdoorsman and likes his air clean.
He'd probably shoot you if you got into an altercation with him...he'd itching to use his gun in self defense.

There's also nothing illegal about fucking someone else's wife and if you do it you might expect to get your ass kicked... In all the aformentioned scenarios someone is being an asshole and whether or not they broke the law doing it they should expect some level of retribuition from whoever it is they're pissing off....

Actually if you drive too slow you can get a ticket depending on where you are. On the other hand, if you chase people down and cuss them out because they inconvenienced you, that pretty much just proves that you're an asshole with impulse control problems. I think that with your line of work that you give entirely too much credit to the legal system..... The legal system is in place for a very specific reason and it is needed to "reign in assholes"... There is more to the human social system than just laws that are in place though.... Whether or not it's legal to lash out at people for being morons is beside the point.... You also miss the point that my actions towards this woman are no worse than her actions towards me... We both had several moving violations and the only charge I could have gotten above and beyond that was disturbing the peace.... You also seem to forget that she started this shit... I drive as courteously as I possibly can around other people and I would never under any circumstances do to another driver what she did to me.... I'm sorry, but I have a personal philosophy about what is acceptable and what is not acceptable regardless of what the law says...
