In "The Dark Knight," Bale reprises his "Batman Begins" role of wealthy playboy Bruce Wayne and his crime-fighting alter-ego Batman, a brooding vigilante superhero still scarred by the murder of his parents.

Obviously, he was just trying to provide motivation for his character in the next film.

Ledger dead, Bale in trouble with the law and, apparently, his family...It won't be long before some idiot starts blathering about the "Batman Curse."  All it will take now is for Maggie Gyllenhaal to get a cold sore or something.

The movie kicked ass though. I thought they were talking shit about Ledger needing to get an oscar for it, but I saw it last night and now I see the light.

It's about all the talk there is this week on my usual web haunts...I'm tempted to leave my home to go see it, but I'd have to talk Husband™ into it, and we don't know where the good theaters are here in our new city.  I cannot remember the last film I actually saw in a theater; it must have been a year ago or more.

Go early then. I haven't been to a theatre in ages, but I decided to go the other night. I missed half the movie trying to find the secret entrance behind the wall of dildos.

Well, they certainly didn't have dildos in theaters* the last time I went...but since they're theater concessions, they're bound to be of poor quality, and overpriced.

*Well, obviously they had the human kind; but that's true of every public place.

Well, I don't know where you watch your movies but this theatre is laid out terribly. If you're going to go see "Will He Bonk Ya In The Chocolate Factory", the opening to the theatre is just right of the "candy penis' on a stick" display. You'll have to squeeze between the pegboard and the false wall. Be careful not to knock the dildo's off of their hooks lest you want attention drawn to yourself.
