So the last fews years, apparently, there's been a furries vs. star trek bowl-a-thon here in Atlanta after Dragoncon. I've never been to Dragoncon and have no real desire to go, but I'm determined to go to the furry/klingon bowloff this year.

I briefly worked for both the Venetian and Rio hotels, in their Conventions and Catering division a few years back.
We saw a lot of weird conventions. Mostly porn-related ones (AVN, Halloween Fetish Ball, etc.).
I would have fucking lost it bigtime if these people had booked a convention there while I was there. I even doubt they'd be allowed to do this shit anywhere but Florida.
