Didn't ring quite right with you either, huh?  I don't mean to go all Oliver Stone's JFK on the video but the preachers head goes back and away from the assailant as the punch seems to land on the right side of the pastors face.

Blood can then be seen dripping from the pastors left eye after he reaches for it on the walk back up to the pulpit.
