Awesome.
Far fucking out.
All that power.
Happily none of this any longer concerns me.
Shit had gotten very close several times during my tenure.

Sweet. I'm pulling for the Russians. Fuck MC Hammer, Fuck Michael Vick, Fuck Hotlanta, Fuck Morten Anderson. The whole state can blow the fuck up. Now if Russia would only invade Ohio, we might just have a decent BCS this year.

Instrumentation, my dear Dirckman, instrumentation.

The scariest part of this whole thing is that Georgia has been trying to get into NATO for years. If their application had been accepted we'd be at war with the Russians now.

What is happening before shockwave breakaway brings the smoke trails into play is exceptionally weird looking.
Of course at the moment of their doom some will get to see all manner of things best not considered.

Good news for the Georgians: the US is now helping to fly their troops into battle.

Until I refreshed my memory with Google Maps, I never realized how close Georgia was to Kirkuk.

I imagine we decided to help them since we're the only reason why they had 2000 troops in Iraq in the first place.

In all fairness, that's likely be-cause Georgia wasn't included in the map for Risk*.
* Speaking of which, my version of that as well as Battle Chess won't run with the Vista virus installed; So, if any-body knows of an alternative . . .

Make sure you run it in Administrator mode and set compatibility mode to an older version of Windows. It probably needs to run with virtualization enabled.

Thanks - I hadn't even considered employing Windows "roll-back mode." I just went the natural route of throwing a "hissy-fit" when I realized that all traces of DOS had been eradicated.

Well it has been about 13 years since the 32-bit revolution hit...

Actually, Google DOSBox. That will work better.

DOSBox is good shit, but I'd also like to recommend FreeDOS, which comes in a handy livecd format.
