Wow! That's a GREAT analogy for confiscating somebody's property and then losing said property!

I loved the side story about the failure rate of police tasers in Houston is 300% higher than the national average due to misplaced or lost AA batteries.

When I moved to Houston in 1979, a Cleveland Cop told me to be careful because, "7 out of every 10 Houston Cops have been shot at."
It's almost 30 years later, and I live outside Dallas now, but I'm curious if that percentage has changed.
