We are required to name the High Street Award for Outstanding Banality in Journalism "The Crülitzer"

I nominate Neal Cavuto

Clever. [gives points] Clappity, clappity... Though I think we can manage without the [Motley] Cruelitzer's umlaut.

The umlaut is deliberate and, IMHO, essential, but I bow to popular opinion on this one.  I put it in there to make the award more Metal.

EDIT: (very) quick and (very) dirty mockup:

If you could make the two handles into arms, that would rule.

NO. No goatse references. Ack. Are we not men?

The goatse reference gave me a grin--also, nice work on the image--but perhaps Pale is right; goatse is pretty played.

How about some takeoff on "Blind Justice," with an image of a journalist wearing a blindfold and/or ear plugs?

Or perhaps just a bust of Geraldo Rivera would get the message across.

Of course goatse is played out.  That's the point,  It's an award for Banality in Journalism.

Banal \Ban"al\, a. [F., fr. ban an ordinance.]

Yeah, but it still has some mild shock value. Like picking a font, I just don't think it "goes" with the mental image of some kind of trophy. Keep trying tho.
