I ran across this op-ed bit today, and as much as I detest the Governor, I have to agree with Campbell Brown:

I just got an email with the subject "Two guys getting nasty and tasty.  The rectal."  Do you think that might be smut?

Nah - it's just another of pENIx's party invites.

He sent it to you?

While I agree that any underhanded smearing should be exposed for what it is, I can not forget that Palin has fully embraced the rhetoric and class warfare to further her own ambition.

Campbell Brown is purposefully overlooking the key part of the dynamic. However she may have been used by the campaign, for what they were selling, she is the first one to buy in.

There's plenty of contempt to go around, but I agree that we shouldn't let the Republican party get away with trying to cut her (or McCain, for that matter) away as ballast.

It will be especially scary when the so-called "moderate" veneer is dropped completely. I predict we'll have even more Limbaughs and Hannities than ever, increasingly spiteful and less comedic.

Oh God damn, Wilbur.  Can we give you a separate thread for random anti-pale rants?  I think you've already established your dislike and we can pretty much take that for granted now.  As an alternative, if you could at least make them funny or something...

Jeezus, Wilber, let it go.

If you can't let it go, keep it in one thread.  Tracking your Nemesis from topic to topic is Lurkeresque and does not reflect well on you.

That's pretty uncalled for, Wilhorse. Knock it the fuck off.
