"...they, too, might be turned into pillars of who knows what spice."
Let that be a lesson, Mister!

OK, Redacted. We need some biographical info here. You can pull it out of your ass and make up as much shit as you want; we just need some image to associate with the name. Don't make it too long, though, as I have pot brownies baking right now.

I'm a former Cruelite, and I chose a name that would indicate that, so it would be obvious that I get the references and know the history.
I changed my nick because I was inappropriate; I'm embarrassed and regret my behavior. After seeing what happened to Horse, I think I made a wise decision.
Go check your brownies and if you ever get time, please let me know how to cook a whole salmon without making it too dry.
Kthx.

Use the "normal" cycle.

I know you asked the chef, but I'm from B.C., so I've had a lot of practice. I just gut them, shove a stick down the mouth till it supports the weight of the fish as it hangs over the fire, and...oh wait...you're probably using an oven, aren't you. I bake my salmon at 375-400 (depending on the oven) for 45 minutes. There are many ways to prevent drying out. My mother wraps the fish in tinfoil, while others use a marinade. My favourite method is to cut 2 or 3 lemons into fine slices, which I use to completely enrobe the salmon. Underneath and on top of all that lemon I put a fuck load of fresh rosemary sprigs, but whatever floats your boat in terms of herbage will probably be fine. Not only does this create a beautiful, moist fish, the sauce in the roasting pan is fantastic, and can be dribbled back over the portions at serving time.

Fish is bad, do not eat.
See what it has done to WCL here, he has lost all integrity and civility due to the evil effects of fish.
Have a hamburger or omelette instead.
Oh, and mommy pillar salt is out of this world, far better than hickory smoked salt.

That wasn't the fish. It was a deliberate decision to discard the petit bourgeois trappings of hypocrisy. Sheesh, Em, not everything can blamed on my (ovo-lacto-pisco) vegetarianism.

Look bro . . . we are 58 minutes short of the Marine Corps Birthday, followed closely by Veterans day.
I'm heading full tilt towards my annual FTW drunk without much patience for petty bullshit; please fucking quit this shit - you belittle yourself. You have started to fuck up my favorite internet site so either get over it or get the fuck out.
Either way WCL is gone and I have no idea who the fuck has shown up in his place.

Em - I think you are drunk. I've stopped talking about the b***** issue - completely. As stated in the appropriate thread. Okay? That doesn't mean I'm going to stop crapping on him, but it does mean that as far as I'm concerned, this chapter is closed. Now go back to whatever you were doing and have a good time. (And as for fucking up your favourite Internet site, that's your problem. You can always put me on ignore - it's there in your options.)

You could be right about Roland or LilAndy but...the thing is, I clearly remember [redacted] being used in relation to Meg after she started posting stuff about Rogers' wife...and threatening him.
I can't remember [redacted] being used in any other reference, but alas there are no archives to check.

It's not in relation to anything specific. Simply an indication that I'm aware of Cruel and its history. So, if I remember something about a timeline or something you said or whatever, you'll understand that I 'get it.'
It's not very exciting and I'm not going say who I am, because it's irrelevant to most visitors. Also, as I mentioned, I'm embarrassed. I find it hard enough already, just posting anything. It feels like public speaking, which makes me wet my pants.
And really, Meg? The discipline it would take her to not make a new thread trumpeting her arrival with threats to sue would require enough tranquilizer to knock out an elephant.

I'm just talking smack with the Roland / LilAndy guess, and I couldn't care less if that's who you are, as long as you're not personality #8 of Tom Colligan. But the candor of your embarassment is intriguing, along with the quality delivery of banner graphics, and I'm sure everyone here would appreciate more insight, whether or not that involves a pants-wetted snapshot.
That goes for you too, RT. We promise. . . no anal.

I'm with lechero. I thought the Meg thing was a nice stab in the dark. I can't imagine her ever admitting she was wrong about anything.
And sorry Lech, no photos.

I briefly thought it might Jadetree/Rip Van Uterus, and then I even considered Lurker - but the wit isn't sharp enough to be Jade (I don't mean that as a put-down, but if you're an old Cruelite, you know what I mean) and well, it's simply too understated to be Lurker.
I'm mystified, but intrigued.
