Think of it as rubbing the sheriff’s nose in deer shit. Maybe next time he will know to get a proper warrant, and execute the warrant while an adult is present. They could have done better planning about what to do with the animals as well. I’d bet the hand raised deer were eaten by predators within a few days of being released into the wild.
There’s more going on here than the article lets on. She must have pissed a lot of people off.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. Unfortunately, they will probably have to pay. The fact that all charges against her were dropped suggests that they weren't warranted in the first place.

And pissed them off in a deeply personal way. I'm betting one of the patrolmen involved was banging the 16 year old. Nothing less accounts for the police stupidity in this case.
