Since we are in the nostalgia mode here, does anyone remember who wrote this???
That was an amazingly honest self-evaluation. So please let me respond in kind.
I've said before that I do miss some of the posters that Horse drove off back in the older days. What I have not expressed was my opinion of their actions. Cruel has long taken care of it's tards, trolls and taints with admirable efficiency. Many is the foolish noob who carelessly incurred the wrath of board regulars, only be eventually suffer major mental instability and run away crying with their ears burning and colons packed with the burning ichor that only true cruellers can deliver.
When horse came along however, all the tried and true tactics that had previously been so effective failed miserably. The posters that left complained about Horse "junking up the board" and "making the forum unreadable" etc. While at one time, there may have been some truth to that, since the addition of the killfile feature, or it's predecessor... Zoo's rather nifty Horse-free browser, those complaints don't wash. What happened is that when these posters found they couldn't master the horse, and couldn't drive him off no matter how hard they tried, the sheer frustration of not being able to win drove them away. It's all about ego. They ran like little fucking pussies.
Honestly, I wouldn't want horse to go anywhere. He's far too much of an irritant to the unwashed and washed alike. He has the rare quality of taking whatever shit is thrown at him and simply adding a few steamy horse feces to it, remolding it, and throwing it right back in the face of his aggressor. I could care less whether he gave up his account name or not. An equine by any other name would smell just as bad, and be just as relentless.
There are few other people on this board who can withstand the constant withering fire of my posts when I get a wild hair. What would I do with all that invective? Oh, noobs are fine for appetizers, but when you want a real meal, you need a worthwhile opponent. Unfortunately it seems that lately Oracle and I are the only ones with the fortitude to mount a standing campaign against horse, although it is nice to see the females joining the fray upon occasion.
As to Mel, she is simply the bomb. Literally. Anybody that can fire horse up to one of his towering frothy foaming ballistic postathons is worth their weight in gold. The last several weeks have been a blast!
Of course, the fact that I'm on Jury Duty all month thence stuck in this shithole with broadband will ensure that I myself do not plan on letting up an inch. Furious masterbation can only amuse one for so long.
I'm having fun just morphing the topic line, that's how fucking bored I am.
Carry on.

He has to finish dispersing the feet along the coast of British Columbia.
Yeah, Wilber's okay, but he's no Orangina.

It's not what you'd think. I have (by all accounts) an extremely attractive partner.
