Frankly, the anti-Prop. 8 crowd should give it a rest: the people have spoken twice against gay marriage in about a decade, the opponents ran a poor campaign and were overconfident from early polling this summer.

There was a time that just having Margaret Cho in your production did not automatically lower your coolness portion by, at minimum, half. I know that time did exist, I just cannot remember when that was.

Back when I attended UCI (University of California Indochina), we had free comedy shows and concerts and shit, and I brought my mom and a couple of friends with me to see her. 1992 or so. She was funny back then. My mom got one of her shows on Netflix, because she remembered going with me, and I had to tell her not to even put it in the DVD player, or she'd be disappointed and disgusted.

Yeah - I remember that. It was be-fore she got a television show based on one specific joke from her act. She was never the same after that.

The only reason to give it a rest now is because time is on their side. They'll win by attrition if they wait long enough.
