Edit, this gets creepier and creepier. Not only do I know who this guy is, I have worked out in the gym next to him, but my local friends reminded me that we know the cop who spent 8 hours trying to talk him out of snuffing it.

When someone commits a murder or other serious crime, it would make more sense to try to talk them into snuffing themselves if they aren’t holding a hostage.
