And Bruce Boxleitner will somehow be in it. So will Jeff Bridges. The world is definitely coming to an end.
I do, however, remember the original as being one of the first CGI-driven films of the era. It will be interesting to see how they improve upon things after dreck like "Speed Racer."

It may look marvelous, but the movie will die like a snowflake in a blast furnace. Everybody knows about Tron but the number of its actual fans probably couldn't fill a single movie theater. Just like Speed Racer, basically, only more so.
They don't seem to know what to do with the "new tech"--Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow, The Polar Express, Speed Racer, Beowulf were all big projects, and heavily hyped, but the public just wasn't having it. The only successful CGI-fests I can think of are 300 and Sin City.

Great. It only took two posts for Tron Guy to show up. Nice job.

You put "TRON" in the topic title and expect Tron Guy not to appear? Silly bunny.

No, I just wanted to see how long it took you perverts to hold off on dragging him out of his nassy cameltoe'd closet. The answer: not long at all.
