Doesn't make the kid any less dead, but it doesn't look like he was shot on purpose. The cop hadn't even gotten his second hand all the way up. He says he thought he was pulling his tazer, but I don't know about that. Wishful thinking, maybe.
Apparently the bullet hit the kid twice, once going in and then on the ricochet off the ground back into his chest. It's almost funny watching the cop instinctively put his hands up, like a kid that just knocked over a vase or something.

Note I wasn’t the one who started this topic. You bitches dislike anything to do with grubby minorities as much as I do, but because of the PC brainwashing you’ve absorbed you can’t admit it even to yourselves. Accept the fact that they suck and nothing can be done about it, be grateful that you are White, stop feeling guilty or having a vague discomfort with the fact that you had the good luck to be born White and move on with your lives! Move out of a “diverse” neighborhood, stop making any effort to include minorities in your life or organizations, and you will find you think about them less and less and your life will be far less stressful.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, fnord! I'm on your side most of the time except in the case of blacks of West Indian heritage. But since you are so free with your thoughts, I tend to let you speak for me. I was just pointing out that the article was merely less than PC in its wording.

You are correct. I should have said, “Fruitvale and downtown Oakland.” Fruitvale has a slightly different flavor than the rest of Oakland.

The answer doesn’t matter. What matters is that which is obvious to anyone who takes an honest look. Billions of dollars have been thrown at minorities and multiple social programs have been tried with very little result. Armies of social workers, teachers, community volunteers, church groups, and other have wasted their time trying to make a difference. The only sane course of action would be to walk away and cut society’s losses. Life is full of booby traps and the best course of action is to avoid them.

Welfare and Church just make people worse and education doesn’t work when the prevalent culture is against it. There are a lot of poor whites that also do not value learning.
How many generations have passed since civil rights? Culture changes slowly and not always positively. But when I look at me, my father, and my grandfather I see progress. Maybe it’s because they have more black in them.
