Vice President Dick Cheney will be in a wheelchair during Tuesday's Presidential Inauguration, after pulling a muscle in his back while moving, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said

"Under his physician's recommendation, the Vice President will be in a wheelchair for the next couple of days, including for tomorrow's inauguration, The Vice President is looking forward to being there for tomorrow's historic inaugural activities," Perino said in a statement.

Are we supposed to believe that Dick Cheney is moving house himself? And he's pulled a muscle--heaving away at a couch, no doubt, or perhaps carrying wifey's favorite lamp.

All the usual joking aside, the man's had how many heart attacks? I don't think he's allowed to carry his own briefcase...ohhh, I guess they just meant moving, like, sitting up or crossing his legs or something. Poor old fella.

It said he was moving boxes. I'm guessing they were full of documents, and he was moving them to the furnace.
