See, I think it's more disrespectful to the other team if you give them anything less than your best game. If they'd started just screwing around on the court during the second half, it's awfully condescending. If the winners keep playing hard, as they did in this circumstance, then you're saying that you still consider the other team to be a potential threat.

I'm not lecturing, I'm just offering my opinion on this story in the hopes of starting an argument.

I pretty much agree with Jesus on this one, to a point. However, I also believe the winning coach wanted his team to score 100 points and saw the opportunity to do it at the other team's expense. The losing team hasn't won a game in four years. Why are they still competing? Their kids have mental issues. Does their administration believe humiliation is a form of therapy? This whole thing is fucked up.

I would do what Jesus would do as well, but I think if I were the coach I would not accept the match.

For once I agree with phreddy, there’s something wrong with a school that fields a team with emotional and mental issues to play against normal children. On the other hand, the winning team learned what life is like in the grownup world, that it’s normal to beat the crap out of weaker competitors.

“It is shameful and an embarrassment that this happened,” the statement reads. “This clearly does not reflect a Christ-like and honorable approach to competition.”
Christ had a wicked crossover. On the playground, he was known as "Essene Chocolate." This is a misnomer, as we all know he was a mulatto.

My game hasn't been the same since the crucifixion, what with all the tendon damage.

He used to play JV baseball. Now, He whistles whenever he throws a knuckleball, thereby betraying his pitching stratagem. His time in the 100 meter breaststroke is way down as well.
