Ackerman is currently on parole for twice violating orders of protection for incidents that occurred while he was on parole from a five-year sentence for residential burglary.

So, let's see if I can get this straight: He got sentenced for burglary, then got paroled. And the punishment for violating parole is more parole? And now that they got him on tape trying to pay a cellmate to kill his girlfriend, they put him on parole again? Sounds like the cops are more interested in getting the interest off of bond money than keeping this clown off the streets.
