(note: Yes, we know that, even though the series ended without saying so, Alice later gets convicted of the crime but that still doesn't mean she did it. I'm just sayin'..... )

Umm, she was the one the show evolved around (yes, I meant to say "evolved").

The series starts with her as a straight girl who moves in next to a lesbian couple and quickly dumps her fiancee and starts batting for the other team.

Since you missed the first season, you might know her better as the one who wrote the book that was made into a movie that she was originally directing, until getting screwed over by her scam-artist assistant.

She was murdered in this, the final season, and the series finale didn't reveal who the killer was. The only way I know is that they are spinning off Alice on her own show about life in prison, so I'm assuming she's in prison for killing Jenny....
