Holocaust Denial laws are a bad move on the part of European governments.  If an idea is banned, people become curious about it.  These laws also fuel hatred for Jews because the Jews are seen as stifling Free Speech.  I think America pretty much has the right idea; let every crackpot shout at the top of his lungs and people will tune out anything that doesn’t come from approved sources.

I disagree.  It doesn't drive curiosity, some things are just off-limits, kinda like kiddie porn is here.  You can't talk about it or write about it - it's all in the degrees of offensiveness.  You also cannot shout fire in a theater or threaten to kill the president, free speech does not necessarily indicate freedom to incite danger.

Besides, if we waterboard ptah long enough he'll admit to all of those offenses...
