Right now it's Fiesta in San Antonio. We have not attended, but we have been enjoying the reduction in traffic during our daily commutes. Yesterday was something called the "Battle of the Flowers," for which school was cancelled. Husband™ and I are unclear about what a "Battle of the Flowers" might actually mean here in Texas; but we are kind of hoping there will be casualties.

If it’s anything like Santa Barbara’s Fiesta, there will be a number of shootings and stabbings inflicted by Mexicans upon other Mexicans. Many Santa Barbarians refer to Fiesta as Fiasco. Viva La Fiasco!
