My Mom left us on the side of a highway. It's effective. I've only had to make my monsters believe I'll toss them out by pulling over once. If you make the threat you better follow through.

I have walked home a few blocks a couple of times myself. But now I just pull over and turn the car off and grab a book and start reading. They usually calm down in 10 minutes or so. When it's quiet, I can drive again. In Florida, lack of AC or the ability to roll down your window usually brings them around quickly.

Would the police prefer the mother take the kids home and administer beatings in private? There are times when the Nanny State needs to butt out.

Fuck you hedgehod, for making me watch a commercial which included the phrase "let's put our rally caps on!"

The secret is to have your kids 9 years apart so they don't bicker.

Not having children seems to be working so far.

I didn't see the commercial. in fact, I didn't watch the vid there. When a search turned up AOL as a source I couldn't resist.

I drove my wild child to a maximum security boobie hatch and goose stepped her to the door. The ride home was peaceful. After that...

Solution: Leave other people's kids by the sides of roads everywhere. Whee!
