I played twice and fared miserably. My career in scapegoating and aspersion will have to wait, alas.

What is a Parole Violator supposed to look like? They ALL look guilty to me, but I guess that might have something to do with their fucken mugshots!

Now mix up mug shots with DMV photos and you might have a cool app.

I only got about a third of them, which pretty much amounts to statistical pure luck. I'm not sure how you can tell merely from someone's face what crime they may have committed. Most of the ones I got right were by picking the least likely looking individual, which I guess to be part of the site's "point." Since they've ALL been booked for something the looks of guilt and/or remorse are fairly uniform...except for the ones that look like they've had a longer record of offenses and seem to take the sort of pics that might appear on any driver's license or passport; i.e., they just don't care that they've been busted yet again.

You've correctly matched 7 perps in 20 lineups (35%)

This makes no sense.  All of them are scummy characters and many of them have committed offences they were never charged with.  For example, “who was charged with delivering a controlled substance” might well mean that only one of the individuals was caught in the act.  I’m good at spotting people who are bad news based on my past experiences, but I can’t tell you why they are bad news just by looking at pictures of them.

They need a celebrity version of this.
