This reminds me: I was watching a History Channel documentary (an oxymoron, I know) on Netflix a few days about about secret societies. Other than being completely without merit, the program also spent a great deal of time interviewing some idiot named David Icke who had very, very strong feelings about the Illuminati. It was as amusing as it was stupefying.

Pyramids, Knights Templar, George Washington, blah, blah, blah. Do any of those people work for a living?

Dude, you're not familiar with David Icke's "work?"  Man, are you in for some laughs.

David Icky is awesome. You should look for the video of him having his meltdown (he was an Australian sports caster) on air announcing to the viewing audience that he was god.

I read a couple of his books back in the day when my tastes were for a certain sort of weirdness, I enjoyed them greatly. Not King Kill 33 levels of awesome, but not that far off. I met this kid who was a friend of a friend that had a copy of And the Truth Shall Set You Free on him, so I started to get into a conversation with him. Turns out he believed in it fervently, and I realized that about the same time he realized that I didn't. Sometime later a drink was thrown and pizza was hurled in response. The guilty parties have all been punished.
